I enjoyed the time arc throughout the series as well as the intertwined stories of this family.Sunday night/Monday morning I did something I have not done in years. He embodies that "I will die for you" mentality, and I felt she was too wrapped up in her own troubles to truly appreciate him until it was almost too late. The heroine was very short sighted in a LOT of her decisions and the hero incredibly magnanimous in his dealings with her. One Rode West was the last and the most challenging for me to empathize with the heroine.

I enjoyed their battles, both emotional and idealogical. A hero and heroine well matched in both courage, persistence and kindness. One Wore Gray was probably the best of the 3 in my opinion. I found myself going "he's too good for you" in parts but all in all a story worth reading. The heroine was a little to high strung for me and the hero patient and understanding (too patient and understanding in some instances). One Wore Blue was a little too slow and too detailed that I had to put it down and kinds brace myself to pick it up again. This series got better for me as it went on.
